Jim & Nena founded the establishment in 1958. Frank is a third generation pizza maker. His grandparents came from Sicily in the 1960's.

In 1958 Jim & Nena opened their first pizzeria. Located on West Market Street. After 3 years at that location they relocated to West Philadelphia Street in 1961. Since then they have had more than 14 pizzerias including Jo Ja Ma's Famous Chicken and Jim & Nena's Feed & Dispensing Restaurant. There are currently 10 locations with all but 2 being operated by the family.
