Jim and Nena's , Memory Lane is owned and operated by Frank and Gabrielle Messina. They were both "born into the business.", Gabrielle is a fourth generation pizza maker, her grandparents established the of many Jim and nena's Pizzerias in 1958, one of the, very first pizzerias in York. Frank is a third generation pizza maker, his family immigrated from Italy in the late 1960's. Before entering, the pizza business, both tried other things...they both came back to the pizza business. "It's in our genetic make up, it just comes naturally " Gabrielle often says. Today customers at the shop look forward to stopping by and saying "Hello." Frank makes it a priority to get to know, his customers. People come to the shop not only for the food, but also for the service. Upon entering the shop you will see the family photos on the walls, the quaint dining rooms and a friendly face at the counter, ready to help you with your order.
